A proposal from a man who was funny, smart, gorgeous, sensitive, and sweet was all I ever wanted. I knew that getting married and starting a family were the only things that mattered to me. I always tend to start to feel this way when July eighteenth rolls around. My parents anniversary is on this day you see and they have married for forty years. They have five children including me and I've always wanted exactly what they have. I remember watching them when I was really young cuddle up together and watch a movie, then I always remember seeing my younger sister cuddle up with them too when she saw how much attention she was not getting. My fathers proposal to my mother came ten months after they had started dating, they had met when my mother was a dating single and my father had just graduated from Columbia university. He was her knight in shinning armor and she was the sweet damsel who needed her rescuer. She always said that at that point in her life she would always feel like she had to settle for any guy sinceall the good guys seemed to be taken. She used to tell me and my sisters of their epic romance while wewould all cuddle up together in bed. We all wanted to have a guyor gal feel the way about us that they felt about each other.
