Men are expected to be tough. They are expected to succeed and excel in whatever endeavor they are pursuing. They work hard to achieve what they want. But in all these they are not equipped to deal with women. While succeeding in the many areas of their lives, many men continue to fail in relating to women. For many, dating women can really be a scary event in their lives. No university has offered a course on dealing with women or on dating them.

In dating women, men need to use their heart. Women can be temporarily impressed with wealth, new cars, modern and state of the art houses and lofty positions at work. Yet, all these fade in time with the swift changing of trends and fashion. But a man who uses his heart in reaching out to a woman will always almost be sure to succeed. A man's heart is something that defines who he is. How he speaks and acts shows what is inside his heart. Even the look in his eyes can reflect what is inside a man. So if a man really wanted to impress a woman of his dreams, he needs to prepare himself first.

In dating women, men should show passion. Passion is a strong word. A person who is passionate about something makes them bigger than themselves. They even look better than they look. What a man is passionate about consumes him, and radiates from within him.

Women are impressed with men who really show what they really are. Strength these days is no longer synonymous to not crying or showing emotions. Being a real man is not being afraid to show what he really feels and is be able to express it in a healthy and appropriate way. They are not insecure about things they do not know, nor do they brag about the things they are good at. Their strength is evident in the way they carry themselves and how they speak.

In dating women one brief encounter can define a lifetime. Men who has learned to be confident in dealing with women are those that have done their "homework". They learn their lessons well and is not pre-occupied with themselves. These men do not manipulate conversations. They do not display non-essential things in the first meeting. They do not assume and underestimate women. Their gracious and gentle attitude is evident both in words and deeds.

I say this is possible for the real men of today.
