My friend Dina is a single mother. She has a four year old son. Dina has been working so hard to be able to raise her son as a single parent. Sometimes she will joke that she wants to find her prince charming and soul mate and discover how a kiss feels like again. However, she always comes to a conclusion that her son is more important than having a man in her life.

Since Dina knows that I am a very active person in the internet, she once asked me about free online dating sites. I told her that she can join them and give herself a chance to meet people, especially men. But since Dina is a single parent she said she cannot join those dating sites that have membership fee. Later that month, I rang Dina and told her about the free online dating site that I have discovered. I just stumbled on the site while surfing in the internet. The reason why I recommended this site is because it is a free online dating site and the site seemed to be very credible and user-friendly as well. The policy in that site is that membership is free for women but men who want to join the site must pay a membership fee. Is not that a great deal for all women?

Dina was so excited when I told her about this dating site. She joined in straight away and put her profile photo for other members to see. Of course she used her most beautiful photo as her profile photo.

I have not seen Dina since then because we both became busy in our work and families. Three weeks ago, I received an invitation from Dina and her new found boyfriend Darryl. Both Dina and Darryl are members of the online dating site which I told Dina to join in. It was early in the morning when I checked my post mailbox while sniffing the aroma of my favourite coffee. I nearly fell on my seat when I opened the card invitation from Dina. Dina and Darryl have organized a party among their friends to announce that they are engaged to be married!

It was less than a year ago when Dina and I were just talking about her being so busy at work and had no time to even go out on a date. I can't believe how time flies. Dina and Darryl are happy and I can't wait to see them walk in the aisle.
