William felt as though his stomach was swirling with a hundred butterflies. He was getting ready for his blind date and although he was 30 and far from the adolescent he had once been, he still felt as though he was going on his first date. William was going to see a woman that he had met on one of thedating websites, and although they had never met in person, they had chatted for countless hours online every night. Her name was Laura and from the description she gave, and the pictures that she posted, William thought that she was the most gorgeous women he had ever seen. William was ready for a serious relationship, he wanted to marry and have a family. He spent his nights dreaming about the woman he would marry, a wonderful wife to cuddle with at night. Yet despite the fact that he was ready for more, he wasn't sure if the dating websites were the answer. While William was more than ready for the next stage of his life, it seemed that the women he kept meting were not. William had begun to think that he would never meet the right girl, when his friends had suggested that he trya fewdating websites. While William was very skeptical that he would met the right kind of girl, he felt that he had nothing to loose and so had signed up and created a profile. It had only taken a few hours before he found his mailbox full of messages from the other users. After filtering through the ones that he felt he just wouldn’t like, he had finally come across Laura’s profile. She was everything he wanted and more, and now he was finally going to met her. He had just pulled up in front of the address she had given him, when the door opened and out walked the most gorgeous women he had ever met. She was everything she said and so much more, with long flowing auburn hair, long limbs, slim waistline and a perfect face. He whipped his sweating palms on his pants and walked up to meet her. “Hi, you must be Laura, I’m William.” He shook her hand and smiled, Laura looked up at William happily, “It’s so good to finally get to meet you. I was starting to think I made you up. You wouldn’t believe all the losers I had to filter through on those dating websitesbefore I found you. I wasn’t even sure if I should come, but I have to say that I am very glad I did.” Laura blushed prettily. “I’m really glad you did too.” William smiled his most charming smile and took her hand. They drove to a restaurant around the corner from her home and spent the night talking about their lives and their pasts. Before they knew it, the waiter came to their table to announce that they would be closing soon. William and Laura laughed; they had been so busy getting to know one another, that the whole world around them seemed to disappear. When William pulled up in front of her house, Laura surprised him by asking him in, an offer he gladly accepted. It was around 6am when the finally found that they were too tired to talk and Laura insisted that William stay for a few hours of sleep, on the couch mind you. William enjoyed himself so much with her that he knew immediately that she was the only women for him. Deciding that he didn’t want their time together to end, William made a simple breakfast and took it up to surprise Laura. She was still snuggled in the bed when he gave a slight knock on the door; she awoke and smiled as though he was the only thing in the world that mattered. If William could read minds, he would have known that she felt the same way about him. So as Laura ate, William sat on the edge of the bed sipping coffee, feeling for all the world like this was something they did everyday. And in truth, after their night and morning together, Laura and William knew that they were meant for each other and would spend the rest of their lives together.
